Welcome to Nettii, the Dropshipping Detector app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.
Information We Collect
1. Photos and Images
What we collect: Product photos that you take or import using the app.
How we use it: Your photos are analyzed to detect dropshipping sources and find product prices. This is the core functionality of the app.
How we process it: Photos are:
- Sent to our secure server (netti-app.onrender.com) via HTTPS
- Temporarily uploaded to Cloudinary for image hosting during analysis
- Analyzed using Google Lens via SerpAPI to find product matches
- Automatically deleted immediately after analysis (within seconds)
- Never stored permanently on our servers
2. Advertising Identifier
What we collect: Your device's advertising ID (Ad ID).
How we use it: To display personalized advertisements through Google AdMob.
Who receives it: Google AdMob for advertising purposes.
Data Sharing
We share your data with the following third-party services:
1. Cloudinary
- Purpose: Temporary image hosting for analysis
- Data shared: Product photos
- Retention: Deleted immediately after scan
2. SerpAPI / Google Lens
- Purpose: Product image analysis and price comparison
- Data shared: Product photos (via Cloudinary URL)
- Retention: According to SerpAPI's privacy policy
3. Google AdMob
- Purpose: Displaying advertisements
- Data shared: Advertising identifier (Ad ID)
- Privacy: See Google's Privacy Policy
Data Security
We take data security seriously:
- Encryption in transit: All data is transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption
- No permanent storage: Photos are deleted immediately after processing
- Secure servers: Our backend runs on secure cloud infrastructure (Render.com)
Data Retention
Photos: Deleted automatically within seconds after each scan. No permanent storage.
Local cache: Photos may be temporarily cached on your device for display in scan history. These are deleted when you clear the app cache or uninstall the app.
Advertising ID: Managed by Google AdMob according to their retention policies.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Know what data we have about you (minimal, as we don't store photos)
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (though photos are auto-deleted)
- Opt-out: You can reset your advertising ID in your device settings
Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
